Sahkarmitra Shivajirao Katkade Arts & Commerce College, Naigaon is run by Dhanlaxmi Shikshan Sanstha’s, Naigaon, and the parent institution. The college was established in June 2009 with only 34 students, a historic city Naigaon is about 30 km from Nashik on the Nashik–Pune Highway. It is approachable by road from the Nashik. Naigaon is achieved fame as one of the important Onion, Tamato, Cabbage, Cauliflower producing village. The college was established with view of providing higher education to the students in the surrounding rural area.. The college started with two Faculties and only with few students in 2009. Strength of the college students has been consistently increasing over the year.
Our efforts are dedicated to impart quality and value based education to student and mainstreaming the practices that facilitate intellectual, emotional, physical and cultural growth of students.

To promate higher education for people in rural, tribal and backword areas and enable students to enter dynamic world confidently and contribute to the society productively.
This beautiful and profound statement encapsulates the value of education. Yes, there are some exceptions to this rule of people attaining greatness without formal education. But for the rest of us, education is the foundation on which to build our dreams into reality. Not long ago, education merely meant transferring knowledge from the teacher to the student.
Today, education is much more than that. It has been estimated that the entire body of knowledge is doubled about every three years. Trying to keep pace with this explosive growth is quite impossible. I firmly believe that the institute's ethos is the key differentiator.
We are confident that our students will meet their requirements and contribute to success, as has been our experience over the past years. We are trying to provide them with the opportunity to achieve their goals.

The strength of college students has been consistently increasing over the years.
The college organised various activities like NSS, Guest Lectures, Sports Activities, and Cultural Activities. Our students are active and competitive throughout the year. Our student, Sakshi Kanadi, represented Pune University in the inter-university championship. A number of students from our college have been represented at different levels. The performance of our students and teachers from various departments in various academic and extracurricular activities has been outstanding. For all this success, we receive the consistent support and guidance of the General Secretary of the Institute, Prof. Kunal Shivajirao Katkade, and the college development committee of SSK Arts and Commerce College, Naigaon Tal-Sinner Dist-Nashik, Maharashtra.
